uzERP is 1 year old!

We have just completed our first year end. We went live with uzERP (formerly EGS) on 1st January 2009 and have successfully completed our financial year end. We are still developing uzERP but hope to release it within the next few months. The project is still in beta and we are now implementing the system for another manufacturing company with a live date of 1st April 2010.

EGS is changing

From June 1st 2009 Severn Delta are taking over the responsibility for the development of EGS.

For the last few years Severn Delta Limited have been collaborating with Senokian Solutions to develop EGS for use in manufacturing. Lots of work has been going on in the background to develop the EGS framework and additional modules.

EGS2 Beta 1

It has been a while since our last release but we have been putting together a complete rebuild of the EGS system with loads of new functionality and a new framework.

EGS 1.02

It is my great pleasure and privilege to announce the availability of Enterprise Groupware System 1.02. This release is a bug fix release on the current stable release and includes new features and bug fixes. It is suggested that all users upgrade to the new version. These include:

- Undefined variable errors in the store module
- Improved setup which causes the system to 'die()' instead of giving a blank screen on incorrect database access
- And a new feature has been added to the calendar module which means that adding a new event redirects to the day the event was added.

EGS 1.0 - Stable Release

It has been a long time coming but we are proud to present the 1.0 stable release of EGS.

This release sees years of development and effort come to a head to produce a stable feature rich version of EGS.

We are now beginning to add new features for the upcoming 1.1 release and a roadmap is available in the developer section of the website.

We would like to thank all the developers, users and testers that have made this release possible.

New Website

After comments and feedback from the developer and user communities we have updated and redesigned the Enterprise Groupware System website.

The split between users/consumers and developers should now be clearer with a new section dedicated to the developer community.

EGS 1.0RC5

This is hopefully the last release before the full 1.0 release. We have fixed several outstanding bugs and have had a feature freeze until 1.0 is out. This will hopefully by the end of the week as bug reports are now few and far between.

Release of EGS 1.0RC2

Hot on the heels of RC1 last week comes the 2nd release candidate for v1.0 of EGS.

It includes a number of minor bug-fixes, as well as usability improvements. There are also a few changes to the database schema, an updated version of which is included in the download. Patches for both the source-code and the database-schema will also be available.

As always, we welcome your help identifying other bugs, and we value feedback on the way the system works; so please use the trackers and forums to let us know how you're getting on, and what we can do to make things better.... read more

New Release 0.7

This new release of EGS fixes several bugs within the system and also performance enhancements that make to contacts module 100% faster. Other additions in this release are: new functionality to allow viewing of people within a company to be viewed in the contacts module, Major Database update for contacts module views, Updated helpfile and several bug fixes.

New Release 0.68

This release fixes several bugs within the system and provides tighter integration between the modules, allowing users to easily link between CRM activities and Contacts and Projects. The ability to update task dependencies and resources has also been added in the project module.
