#4 Support for Windows

Hi,

I would like to see some support to the windows
operating system so i could use Extreme FTPD on my
desktop computer as well.
May be a good idea as well is a gui for windows like
bullet proof FTPd has. I like to use Bulletproof as
well because it has a nice front end. But just for now
i would like to see my favo FTPd on Windows.

Hi,

Lucky for you extreme ftpd 0.4.0 (nicknamed prefox) will
have support for the Windows operating system. And dont
wurry about the gui where are already working on that part
for unix as well. Keep on monitoring the summery page
because when we open the svn resposory you can try out
extreme ftpd 0.4.0 and tell us what you think. Extreme ftpd
0.4.0 will NOT be the next release yet because Extreme FTPD
0.3.5 (last of the 0.3.x serie) is taged as release
candidate after that we will bring forward our new release
candidate 0.4.0 prefox, but dont wurry you would be abled to
download some 0.4.0 test for test running.
