Hello We use EFSL (0.2.8) with SD card. Now we want to fine tune performance. So I increased the cache size (IOMAN_NUMBUFFER) to 8 sectors. Writing a file of 15K fails after 2K written: We write a file of 15KB in chunks of 128 Bytes. After 2KB file_write() returns always -1 which is originated in fat_isEocMarker(). Callstack: -0 fat_isEocMarker(fs,fat_entry) -1 fat_getNextClusterChain(fs,Cache) -2 fat_LogicToDiscCluster(fs,Cache,logiccluster) -3 file_fwrite(file,offset,size,buf) -4 file_write(file,size,buf) IOMAN_NUMBUFFER set 8 It seems that it has to do with a Bug reported recently: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2309775&group_id=131895&atid=722591 But the patch will not work for us. This patch flushes the cache at file_fclose(). But we want to write some KB without file_close(). If I set IOMAN_NUMBUFFER to 1 it works but with a poor performance... Any ideas?
