But I cannot find the older Mail messages from the links you provides. The very beginning email is “[edk] build grub2 for UEFI” sent on 2010-02-01.

Can you tell me where is the archive that you mentioned?

When the UEFI Open Source Community Website changed hosting to Source Forge, the older Mail messages were transferred into an archive.   Nothing was lost in the transition, however, the mail messages were archived to take advantage of the “new start”.
