I have recently acquired an eeePC with Xandros linux and 16 GB flashram, where the system takes about 2.5 GB.

I have had a look at both Xandrox.com (virtually no free downloads) and eeefiles.com (which doesn't have much of interest!!) and the ASUS PC homepage (same story) so I am still in the dark as to really useful software which will run on the Xandrox kernel.

I am a computer scientist, and have worked with linux before, but Xandrox is new for me.

Apparently, Xandrox is derived from Debian, so:

--where can a find a list of Debian software which WORKS on the eeePC?

--which Ubuntu eePC software has been validated?

--other open-source software for eeePC?
