Asus: Mplayer plugin and smaplayer get into a state they won't play sound.

Method:
1. Don't know, this seasm to occur... 2x in 3 days now.

Use mplayer plugin in a browser for a long time

Eventually sound stops working.

dmesg shows nothing, restarting the machine does not help and the issue still
ocurs. Other items liek aplay will still play sound.
