Hello all, I finally got to read the full document. Here are the points which we can discuss to understand the requirements a little better. Please tell me if the assumptions below are right or wrong. 1. There is zero or more archives in the eDocs system. An archive contains zero or more folders and folders contain zero or more documents. 2. Administrator can assign users rights to a folder and not to individual documents. Ref 2.23 3. Can the administrator assign read, modify and delete rights to groups with regards to folders and documents? 3. In order to access documents through MS office, the archive must be mapped to a drive on the client. Ref 2.31 . And the archive folder hierarchy must be visible from MS Office. So will there be any other way to access the archive other than HTTP? Sorry, just curious, I know this is just requirement stage and I am jumping to implementation. 4. Based on the System requirement document, I have made a list of actors in the system. They are Administrator, User, Group, Approver and Editor 5. Presently the selection of documents is based on a set of masks. The latest research in universities focus on not just access to documents but their relevancy as well which means machine understanding of content, observation of context, and instructive mediation between message provider and message recipient. In our case, the message is provided by our client in MS office to eDocs system. Basically it amounts to a more sophisticated document search technique. So, do we need to make any investigation in this area? Thanks, I look forward to contributing more to use case document and more.
