Hi, (1) Translations First of all, I would like to announce that the current GUI version in CVS is ready for translation into other languages :-) Currently there are no translations yet, but if you would like to translate the GUI into your language, please feel free to contact me. It's dead easy - the only thing you need to know is how to use a text editor, that's all. Also, a translation can be done in multiple steps, it doesn't need to be done all at once. (A French translation is already under way.) (2) New core v59-4 Secondly, I just wanted to let everyone know that I've put out a core v59-4. It is basically just v59-3 + coloured progress bar functionality. No other changes. http://ed2k-gtk-gui.sf.net/core.html I shall warn you though: This version will apparently not work properly with the JavaGUI (the JavaGUI might not show all the downloads). [1] It should work without problems with the ed2k-gtk-gui though. (3) Ready-made GUI binaries I've been asked for ready-made binaries of the GUI. They are under way, but it might take a while. I have to learn packaging... The current source code tarball, however, contains a dynamically linked binary for x86 GNU/linux systems though IIRC. (4) preview function in CVS The current CVS version also has a 'preview' function in the downlods pop-up menu now, just in case anyone would like to test it. :-) Cheers -Tim [1] because this core supplies the x.part filename information of each download in a format not expected by the current JavaGUI version. (This is not intentional, btw, I've just heard of the problem, and now I remember why I didn't publish 59-4 earlier. I will fix this with a new version when I have time.). |
