In your home directory you have a directory called '.ed2k_gui'.

Could you create a .zip or .rar file that contains that directory and all
files in it (= everything in .ed2k_gui) and send it to
hazeman@users.sourceforge.net with a reference to this bug report?

After that, try deleting that directory (or just rename it). ed2k-gtk-gui
should start up fine again after that.

    Cheers

    Hi,
thank you very much. Deleting of the dir did solve my
problem. Do u still want me to send you the
    dir '.ed2k_gui' ?

Hi, thank you a lot. Your advice to delete the dir did
solve my problem. Do you still want the dir .ed2k_gui

Yes, please send the .ed2k_gui directory to

    hazeman@users.sourceforge.net

(this is not me, but our win32 developer who will try to fix
    the problem)

    Thanks.

    Cheers

    Hi,

    I have the same problem.
what do you mean with "home directory"? I can't find a
directory .ed2k_gui. Can you please specify it.

    Thank You

    Ulf

Is this "home directory" on the windows or on the linux
    machine?

What .ed2k_gui must be deleted? In windows I don't have this
directory. It crash when I start it. It don't attempt to
connect core. ed2k_gui 0.6.3 on linux (debian) is ok.
I use win2000 on client machine.
