#1 Data for ants (and their environment)

Hi,

My project is Artificial Anthill (http://www.aanthill.org/).
One of the goal is to make some artificial life software
regarding the world of ants.

I would like to take the already existing software MANTA
(see links in the PS) as a template and add features not
already in the soft (reproduction, interaction with
meteorological datas, ...).

So I would need data regarding ants and their
environment. One of the most important things are the
pheromones (chemical product used for their communication).
The information needed would be what pheromones used by
which specy of ants in which conditions, life duration of
the pheromone, distance of action, behaviour induced, ...
Other data are species that used the sames pheromones,
the species that eat them, life duration, need for food, water,...

Maybe some interactions are possible between the two projects.
Future will decide...
