Hi,
I found this error in the dream host one-click install version of e-coder (0.4.9). I was unable to see what I typed on text files.
I observed the following:
1. When I created a text file, already saved text in the file showed up properly.
2. Any changes to the text was reflected in the background of the text area but, was not clearly visible in the text area. A very faint grey change was visible and all changes was always overwritten in the fist line of the text.
3. If these changes were saved, the text file reflected the new changes, hence it was a problem with the display in the front.
4. This problem does not occur with php or other files which have a defined syntax.
This is a guess, the problem was only in txt files as there was no rule for syntax hi-lighting. Switching the theme to 'basic' in code.php has temporarily resolved the problem for me.
