Hi Tom. I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorials. In the Total Beginners Tutorial Companion Document, I list several books and online references. For books, my favorite to learn Java is Head First Java. (There are also a number of other Head First books on more advanced Java topics that have been well received.) My favorite reference book is Thinking in Java. The Java Ranch website is a great resource for people learning Java. I would recommend checking it out. They have forums on the various certifications as well as good Java forums at different levels. It is very educational to read the questions and answers and seeing all of the things people do with Java. Hope this helps. Mark
