Mark,
First off ... thanks very much for these tutorials -- the content and presentation are excellent.
My one and only complaint is this: is it possible to export the finished movies to .avi, .mpg or some _other_ format than swf? Having to load up a browser to view the videos and have eclipse open is difficult at best in a relatively low-memory environment, and being able to view the videos with something like vlc or another low-resource video player would be outstanding.
Other than that, keep up the excellent work!
Regards,

I'm sure there are some video converters out there that would allow to export or save the videos as a different format...but I would imagine that it would probably be a lossy compression or else the videos would prob be quite large. the loss of quality probably would not be worth the conversion as the text would not be as crisp and easy to read.
keep in mind, I have not converted them myself, so don't let me stop you from trying. maybe google "swf to avi" or something....I think I saw a firefox extension one time that converted swf files maybe....

Hi. I chose to use SWF after experimenting with a number of formats. This seemed to be the best compromise between file size, video quality, and ease of viewing. It would be nice if the videos could all be viewed on line instead of having to be downloaded, but Sourceforge does not allow for this and I didn't want to pay for a website.
Thanks. Mark
