These tutorials are absolutely amazing and have greatly helped in my new job where the firm uses Eclipse. The videos are absolutely top quality and far better than all the commercial samples from other publishers I've sat through.
I'm used to Netbeans and currently feel more confident using that to develop a GUI application. Mark is there any chance of using your magic on the topic of creating a GUI application in Eclipse and showing the pros and cons of Swing and SWT?
Indeed I have learnt more about Eclipse from these tutorials than I ever knew about Netbeans through my own efforts when I was using that in my previous job. I really have the bug for test-driven development now.
Also, a tutorial on the refactoring options within Eclipse would be great too.
Thanks from the UK.

Hi Nigel. Thanks for the feedback. I'm very pleased that you have found the tutorials to be useful. I'm currently working on a "getting started with SWT and JFace" tutorial that I hope to have done in the next few weeks. After that, I've got plans for a follow-up to develop a GUI front-end to the MyLibrary program using JFace. That will hopefully come later this summer.
At this point, I don't have any plans to do a Swing tutorial. There is an awful lot of information on the web about the pros and cons of SWT vs. Swing. I'm not sure I could add that much to the discussion. But I will add a quick mention of Swing in the SWT tutorial, since you brought up the question. Thanks again for the feedback. Mark
