I just wanted to express my sincere thanks to you for creating such a wonderful resource. I have some coding background, but no practical experience beyond a theoretical understanding of object-oriented programming and java, and none at all of eclipse. Your tutorials provided a wonderful overview of all three of these.
In particular you did a wonderful job introducing me to Eclipse - your tutorials did a great job highlighting some of the ways in which it really shines and I now feel inspired to make use of these when coding.
I stumbled across your lessons when searching for an introduction to the eclipse debugger, by the way - you did a great job covering that. I now feel comfortable using that, and thanks to everything else you covered, I doubt I'll *need* to debug quite as much as I was. I feel like I have a much firmer understanding of the proper way to approach OOP as well, which is the first time that has really 'clicked' in my mind. The persistence tutorial was a great help to me as well since the applications I'm developing will soon be at the stage where I need write to disk.
One thing I would like to see would be something on writing to SQL databases (though I'm sure I can find references, and the persistence tutorial's methods will provide me with a good starting point).
Also, I really appreciated the closed captioning and the index provided with each lesson - it made it far easier for me to jump around in the lessons to quickly review a segment when needed. For that reason I'm keeping a copy of all of these handy - I'm sure I'll be referencing them many times.
Thanks again!
