First, it works great from the popup menu when right-clicking in the Package Explorer over a file name. It does not work on the top menu in the PDT Plug-in Editor. The PDT editor uses IStructuredSelection instead of ITextSelection when calling TidyAction.selectionChanged. Also, TidyAction.setActiveEditor never gets called, so no editor is ever set.
