Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: RobG (snarfblat) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Does not work in Eclipse under Linux Initial Comment: I posted about this on EclipseZone.com's forum and they helped me trace it to a missing method in the GNU implementation of GCJ... I'm wondering if it would be possible to use a different method (they tell me it's a meethod in the class java.beans.Introspector called getBeanInfo). Here's the link to the thread: http://www.eclipsezone.com/eclipse/forums/t87844.html If this isn't an option, then maybe something in the Readme might be appropriate to help people find and install an alternate JRE. I am unfortunately not very Java-savvy (though I want to be) and have as of yet not figured out a fix to this. Thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Austin Morgan (admorgan) Date: 2008-11-05 10:55 Message: The readme has a statement about configuring JRE's already. Also the newest version of GCJ and sun's JRE now both work correctly with eclipse. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=725495&aid=1627521&group_id=132863 |
