Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Rejected Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: bixo (starver) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Driver jar location and connection profile not remembered Initial Comment: Using Eclipse 3.3 and Eclipse SQL Explorer 3.5.0beta1 on Mac OS X 10.4.10. Select menu item Eclipse-Preferences, go to SQL Explorer JDBC drivers page and edit a driver (MySQL) to specify the jar as directed on the help pages. Create a connection profile and connect. Everything appears to work fine but after closing and restarting Eclipse, the connection profile and the extra class path are gone. If anyone can help me out with where that information is supposed to be stored, I can try to figure it out. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: spackers (spackers) Date: 2007-10-19 01:32 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1335081 Originator: NO There is a known issue in Eclipse Europa (I20070621-1340) on Mac OS X that prevents the SQLExplorerPlugin.stop(bc) method from being called on shutdown. This prevents the preferences, connections, and history from being stored persistently. If you're using Windows, a more recent OSX maintenance release, or an older version of Eclipse, you shouldn't run across this. (Thanks to bh_bandxi for finding this out) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: spackers (spackers) Date: 2007-10-16 08:22 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1335081 Originator: NO Connection profiles are stored in workspacce\.metadata\.plugins\net.sourceforge.sqlexplorer\SQLAliases.XML ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=725495&aid=1791115&group_id=132863 |
