I found an issue where the background threads and UI threads were trying to use the database connection at the same time causing a lock up. This has been resolved in todays' build. If you could give it a go and let me know if it still freezes, I would appreciate it.

PS. Todays build requires eclipse 3.2, but you can run it as a standalone app.

Sorry, a lot has been changed in the code to improve performance, which relies on some 3.2 specific features. It's not an option to downgrade it again.
The latest build comes packaged with the 3.2 runtime, so it's perfectly possible to unzip it and run it as a standalone app whilst keeping your eclipse version on 3.1.2.

Several times 3.0.0RC get freeze after running DMLs but data is committed.
