I am getting an exception in the sql editor . please note that I am using the SQLexplorer olug in only not all the richclient. I am on Eclipse 31X.
I reverted to the old one which works.

Did you try starting eclipse with the -clean option? Can you post the error message and stacktrace?
PS. The next build will require eclipse 3.2.0.
