I have not developed plugins before. I have started on a MSSQL extension which currently views Stored Procedures and opens them for editing.
However I would like to debug the main plugin in Eclipse. I have not imported a plugin project before and would like some guidelines.
File->Import->General->Existing Projects Into Workspace
and point to the directory containing the projects downloaded from source control.
Me neither, but I read this book on the weekend and it is a fantastic guide:
Building Commercial Quality Eclipse Plugins ISBN-13: 978-0-321-42672-7 ISBN-10: 0-321-42672-X
It's about USD$55, but totally worth it - I've only had to google for one or two things so far.
