Most of my eclipse workspaces contain no Haskell code and I never open the Haskell perspective in them, but the console still shows scion-browser output. How can I stop it?
You can't. I'll add a way to turn it off in the TODO. Because scion-browser is not linked to any project in particular, and downloads stuff on its own, it's active even if no haskell project is present.
Could it just be started when a Haskell perspective is opened?
It's a new preference in 2.5.3 (https://github.com/JPMoresmau/eclipsefp/commit/3a22a719614d1464fd1e22c920c2fa657ddcb6c6), defaulting to true (only start when an Haskell perspective is opened)
