I've installed this plugin, created a new Ocaml project, and added a file foo.ml in the src dir. However, I can't seem to get it to compile at all.

In the preferences, I've noticed that the ocamlc compiler option is grayed out on the Functional Programming:Ocaml:Compiler panel. Clicking on the "ocamlc compiler" sub-panel lets me specify my ocamlc location (my install is in a non-standard place). Once I do this, Ocaml 3.09.2 shows up in the text area below.

If I try to build manually, nothing happens. If I do a Clean... it deletes my foo.ml source file. If I try to run I get an uninformative error dialog, and my eclipse .log file tells me that result.exe isn't found.

Any help would be appreciated. (Also, is the ocaml part of this project still under active development?) Thanks,

    Warren

      P.S. I'm on a Mac OS X 10.4.7 running Eclipse 3.2.

i had the same problem, and solved it by doing the following,
      (1) add ocaml bin directory to environment variable "Path" on PC
      (2) use "build automatically" in eclipse. I cannot make the manual build work either

      hope it helps

For OCaml use OcaIDE (another Eclipse plugin).
    Works quite well for me.
