You can now download 1.0 in either source or binary form, if you are planning on building Eclipse yourself you will need to unzip the dependencies package into the Eclipse folder
After many months without update version 1.0 of the Eclipse engine source code is available from CVS. This will be made available as a download package following testing to ensure everything is working correctly.
This is a major release which brings with it many new features and a new API which is not compatible with pre 1.0 versions. Website and tutorials will be up once everything has been stabilised.
This version comes courtesy of Michael Dowling who highlighted a few problems with Eclipse so this version fixes those issues and also brings a code cleanup where things wasn't quite right.

The license on using Eclipse has been changed to use the LGPL license. What this basically means is that you can use Eclipse for just about anything you like - even commercial projects. There is one restriction on commercial useage - all FMOD portions of the library must be removed first due to FMODs own license.
The rest of the source can be used but if you do use Eclipse in a commercial project you must either link back to the Eclipse, SDL and zlib home pages or make the source code for the above libraries freely avaliable on your web site, a quick mention that your using these libraries would be nice but is not required.
It's been a while but here's the latest version of Eclipse ready for downloading. Only major changes occuring in the sprite classes where you can now load sprites from a tilemap.
