[eclipsedarcs-develop] Not recognizing import

I have a repository, and I made a copy into the workspace using darcs:

darcs get $HOME/myproject myproject

Then I go to eclipse, and click on import -> Existing project to workspace,
Select my project, and hit ok.

The project imports into eclipse, but eclipsedarcs does not seem to
recognize it, and no darcs related options are shown in Team.

I am using kubuntu feisty,
eclipse 3.2.2,
sun's java 6
darcs 1.0.9rc1

The plugin does load and I get some options in the preferences dialog.

I see no errors in workspace/.metadata/.log

Please help me, what am I doing wrong?
