Now, I am confused why you are asking me what is the difference.
What I am wondering as to what is the difference between your setup and mine, whereby you are able to install all plug-ins that come with and I cannot, even though I had followed the instructions provided within , and where it specifically cannot include plugin for **eclipse4SL Web service utilities**.
excuse me for this spam, but how do I unsubscribe from this (or ALL) threads on this forum. I no longer work in this area, and don't need constant updates. I don't see where on the interface I can stop receiving notifications about this thread. Cheers for any assistance,
David

What is the update path for org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu?
After adding http://www.eclipse4sl.org/update/ and performed install, it was requiring capabilities as follows:

I suppose you are using eclipse Galileo, which is not yet supported. Please use Ganymede.
**I am using Ganymede**, extracted from **eclipse-jee-ganymede-SR1-win32.zip**,
Eclipse Platform,
**Version: 3.4.1**,
Build id: M20080911-1700

Problem occurs if I include "eclipse4SL Web service utilities" during Add-on install.

I just test it. It works as expected to install all plugins. Please make sure there is not a problem of firewall. to access eclipse update site.
Best regards

I followed the Windows installation guide: ****
I am able to get the eclipse4SL update:
****
So I am assuming I am not having a firewall issue.

I'm confused. Do you know the difference?
It is important to share your experience to others.

Please do following:
1. Download the eclipse Ganymede:
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downloads/release/ganymede/SR1/eclipse-jee-ganymede-SR1-win32.zip
2. Start eclipse
3. Install eclipse4sl by selecting all items of eclipse4sl
I just done it. It works perfectly.
Make sure you have all pre-requisites installed and used such as
Sun JDK 1.5.0_11 (or above)
I do not know why, but I had performed before exactly the same steps as you had stated, and I did it again and now the installation works.
Thanks
