An update site would be great. IMHO it's possible to
set up one with sourceforge.

    I also agree. If anyone knows, please provide a way to use
    the update manager through SourceForge download facilities
    (NOT the SourceForge project home page).

    For your interest, please have a look how the eclipse-cs
    project (Eclipse Checkstyle Plugin) handles this.

    I have done it.

    It seems that now http://eclipse-cs.sourceforge.net doesn't host the update site anymore.
    Now, I've seen there's an update site at
    https://sourceforge.net/projects/eclipse-cs/files/updatesite/5.6.1/
    but it only lists the following contents:
    Eclipse Checkstyle Plug-in 5.6.1.201306282206

    Any idea? Please note having an update site would be really handy.

    UPDATE: trying at http://eclipse-cs.sf.net/update/ I get the following contents
    Eclipse Checkstyle Plug-in 5.6.1.201306282206
    Extension for EclipseCS Plugin with additional Checks 1.8.0

    Sorry, my previous comment was manifestly wrong: the update site mentioned above was an example about configuring an eclipse plugin update site using sf.

    So is there any enhancement on this feature?

    Though I believe your're looking for the update site of Resource Bundle editor - no idea about that...
