Version 0.2-4 Beta has been released. I've made alot of changes and its starting to look better as well as work better. I added mild floppy support, but still no filesystem. Also added someone else to the project.
Version 0.2-3 (Full) has been released featuring CPU speed detection using the newly written sleep() function that actually works. So for version 0.2-4 I'm looking into file systems. Enjoy!
Version 0.2-3 is no longer in Beta stages and is fully stable. It will be released on June. 17/04. I rewrote the sleep function and added a cpu frequency detection. With Version 0.2-4 I will be working on adding a filesystem with hard drive and floppy support (making it actually usefull).
Version 0.2-3 (Beta) has been released. I switched to using the GRUB bootloader and I added a few things and changed some others. The sleep function is a little buggy. I have to re-write it, but for now enjoy.
I have been working on a number of things including CPUID and some other little changes to the shell. I'm still struggling with the CPUID so give it a couple days and I'll probably have it uploaded.
Another person will be joining he Eclipse OS project soon (within the next couple of days). I'm just waiting for some more information.
The Project Home Page is almost done and I will be uploading it soon. I just have to finish the stylesheet and it will be done.
Release#2 of Eclipse OS will be out on May.14/04. It now supports RAM size detection, and can also tell time! I am also going to release an img file for those who don't want to bother with the source code.
Version 0.2 of the Eclipse OS kernel is now availiable on the download page. It has a small shell and the ability to reboot.
Version 0.2 has been released which supports interrupts, keyboard input, and a better video driver which can use color.
Eclipse OS released it's first bootable version of the kernel.
