It seems a new bug has been ntroduced in R3.0 M5 which by default doesn't detect new features installed and it disables them.
So once you have installe eclipse-games on this version of Eclipse, you have to start Eclipse, select Help-->Software Updates-->Manage configuration (if there is no such menu item you have to 'customize perspective' and add 'software updates' command to the
perspective), and enabled eclpse-games feature.
