When starting Eclipse, I get about many errors like this:

java.lang.NoSuchMethodException: org.eclipse.ui.internal.EditorReference.getModel()
at java.lang.Class.getMethod(Class.java:1655)
at net.sf.eclipsecs.ui.properties.filter.CheckFileOnOpenPartListener.getMementoE4(CheckFileOnOpenPartListener.java:256)
at net.sf.eclipsecs.ui.properties.filter.CheckFileOnOpenPartListener.getRestoredInput(CheckFileOnOpenPartListener.java:216)
at net.sf.eclipsecs.ui.properties.filter.CheckFileOnOpenPartListener.getEditorFile(CheckFileOnOpenPartListener.java:199)
at net.sf.eclipsecs.ui.properties.filter.CheckFileOnOpenPartListener.partsOpened(CheckFileOnOpenPartListener.java:82)
at net.sf.eclipsecs.ui.CheckstyleUIPlugin$2.run(CheckstyleUIPlugin.java:105)

It seems eclipse-cs now needs E4.

Which is the last version I can use which supports 3.x?

    Which eclipse version are you using?
    Normally that particular code path should not be executed in Eclipse 3.x but only on 4.x

    I'm on Eclipse 3.7.2. I installed plugin version 5.5.0 from the archived update site and that works.

    Sorry, I could not reproduce this on Eclipse 3.7. Sometimes issues like these can be solved by restarting Eclipse with the -clean command line options.

    Closing this issue as not reproducible. Please follow the instruction mentioned above if you're still having issues.
