Attached are the small demo files I created as proof of concept for 
extracting the colour settings into a standalone file.

    colorsGet.sh

         uses colorConfig.init

         calls colorsImportTest.tcl

Very basic.


Next, I will try to tackle the assigning of a meaningful context-based 
name for the colour variables, so the customization can be done sensibly 
from only looking at the content of colorConfig.init .

P.S.  I still haven't been able to identify which colour 
setting/parameter controls the default foreground for characters in the 
tkeclipse interface.
