Hi Kevino,

Bugs:
1. We are still having the same problem with the creation of =
missing/cancelled children in EClass. This one happen when I cancelled =
an "import file"

Normally, I wouldn't think this is that big of a problem. It is just =
that there is no way for the author to get rid of it unless they start =

Changing themes doesn't fix it. However, closing EClass Builder and =
re-opening the EClass course, moves it into the EClass Builder's TOC, =
from which you can delete it. :>


Greenstone issues:

When using Greenstone as the search engine, everything works fine up =
until you click on the "Search" in the TOC. The Greenstone window comes =
up like it should, but in that window it says "There are 0 ways to find =
information in this collection: "

Problem with the config file?

An un-related question. Do you still need to install Active-perl for =
Greenstone and CD-ROM Export? Is it now part of the Greenstone =
installation? I find it very funny that the Greenstone site does not =
have a "search" engine

Sorry, I must have missed this bug report. I see the problem and am=20
working on a fix.

I haven't seen this one before... ;-/ You're using 2.50 right? BTW, are=20=

you using the 2.38 server or the 2.50 server? If 2.38, try with 2.50=20
and see what happens (besides the obvious "page not found" problem.)

Yes, it's now a part of the Greenstone distribution so you don't need=20
to install it.

Yes, I am using 2.50 for everything.

[Eclass-users] New Eclass Bug (2-5-4-17)

Hi Kevino,

I found a new bug...

I tried creating new themes by copying an old one (frames), it creates the
theme, but once you close the theme manager. It doesn't work. If you open
the theme manager, the new theme is gone. However, it is still there in the
C:\Program Files\EClass.Builder 2.5.4.17\themes.

Since then, I have closed EClass (editor.exe) and tried to re-open it, no
luck.  Eclass fails to start.

I re-installed, and the same problem occurs:

Hi BJ,

Gak! Wow, thanks for catching this. The problem is that Python module 
names cannot start with a number, even if your theme name can. (and 
each theme creates its own Python file, which will allow for customized 
macros, etc.) For the moment, try deleting the theme and re-creating it 
using a name like "five_decades". After TFA, I'm going on a major 
bug-hunt and also adding a few of the features we've talked about over 
the past month or so, and will take care of this along with the other 
things.
