[Echo-list] [ANN] EchoStudio 1.0Beta1 Released

Hi everyone, 

I'm happy to announce that the first beta release of EchoStudio is now
available. 

EchoStudio is an extension to IBM's Eclipse Framework to provide an
integrated environment for Echo development. It provides rapid
application development capabilities including form and style sheet
designers. Echo applications may be launched and debugged from within
EchoStudio. Creating a new Echo project has been reduced to just a few
mouse clicks. 

EchoStudio is a commercial product being developed by NextApp. 

This release is beta-quality and is for the most part representative of
the state of the 1.0 release. The documentation is still under heavy
development and there are currently some sections missing and gaps in
others. 

You can download EchoStudio from the web site at:

As this section of the Web site is under heavy development it is not
currently connected to the rest of the site. 

You will need Eclipse 3.0RC3 (Release Candidate 3) in order to use this
release of EchoStudio. EchoStudio WILL NOT WORK with previous releases.
