There is no way to escape commas in filenames (without
resorting to interactive-mode scripting) so that
ecasound would understand the names correctly.

    Ecasound 2.4.0 added support for escaping the commas with backslashes, and in 2.4.5 support was added to quoting parameters.

    To play the file "test,foo.wav" with ecasound, use either:

    --cut--
    ecasound -i test\\,foo.wav -o alsa
    ecasound -i \"test,foo.wav\" -o alsa
    --cut---

    In both cases, the backslash/doublequotes themselves need to
    be escaped with a backslash due to the escaping performed
    by the shell (above examples have been tested with bash).
