EBookME 2.5 released

EBookME is a Java application which creates e-books for mobile devices. It supports many input text formats and it contains a cell phone emulator to preview created e-books. EBookME is localized to several languages and it can be used as a console application or with comprehensive GUI.

A new release of EBookME (2.5) includes better integration to MS Windows (installer, exe launcher), support for user defined bookmarks, experimental Tamil translation and other new features. It also fixes several bugs from previous version.

EBookME 2.2 released

Reading software for mobile devices EBookME has new version with number 2.2. It fixes several bugs and it newly includes Chinese translation.

EBookME 2.1 released

New version of EBookME application was released. EBookME is platform independent application for creating e-books for mobile devices with Java ME (MIDP-1.0) support. New version comes with improved Swing UI, new options (display roation, position handling) and shaping of arabic texts.

EBookME 2.0a released

EBookME project team released version 2.0 alpha of the EBookME application (platform independent application for creating e-books for mobile devices with Java ME support). New version comes with the new Swing UI, support for the right-to-left written texts and other new features.

Re-release 1.667

EBookME version 1.666 was compiled for CLDC-1.1/MIDP-2.0 instead of CLDC-1.0/MIDP-1.0. It was caused by mistake during switch to new eclipse IDE. Version 1.667 which is now released is only recompiled 1.666 with the right libraries mappings.

EBookME 1.666 released

New version of EbookME (e-book reader for mobile devices supporting Java) was released.
There is new french translation (and already existing EN, DE, ES, CS), support for book chapters and improved performance in this release.

EBookME 1.1b3 released

EBookME is application which creates Java ME ebooks from your own texts. These books can be readed on all mobile phones (and smart devices) which supports Java ME. More info can be found on project page http://ebookme.sourceforge.net/
There are new translations (EN, DE, ES, CS) and new import filters (HTML, DOC, PDF, ...) in this release.
