    Hi,
I was considering a linux/mac version for quite a while.
Still haven't decided if the best approach would be to make the engine cross platform via mono, and build the GUI from scratch for each OS, or make the whole project Mono compatible.

    Both have pros and cons.

But if someone will help me make a GTK, or Cocoa gui, I can make the rest of the app mono compatible.

I am currently working on the next version, where the UI will completely separated from the model and harvester/scraper engine. So it should be fairly easy to make a different GUI once it is released.

Are you interested in helping building a linux version?

    Hi.

I am sorry for the delay of this replay but i was busy. I will be more than glad to help you. But i would like to comment you another feature that i think that it will be great for the eLibrary. I think that a part of being multi platform, it will be great that your project will be portable.

If you are thinking to re-do the GUI part, I would like to suggest you to translate your project into JAVA using ECLIPSE RCP. It will automatically gives portability and multi platform feature to the project. I have experience working with ECLIPSE RCP so i can help you with that. The only thing is to translate the engine part to JAVA. I dont know what you think about it.

I will check periodically this thread to see your opinion.

    Sincerely
    JuanMa
