[eboard-users] eboard: some Buttons shown without text

Hello to all eboard + Linux users,

I encounter a strange problem with eboard running under debian 4.0 etch stable with KDE 3.5:
Some buttons in the menu are shown without text, that is, I do not know which action they are coupled with.

The same problem occured on my old SUSE 9.3 machine, see e.g:

Here is the debug info from eboard:

GTK+ Version 1.2.10
Imlib Version 
....
Perl says: unable to retrieve
expect says: version 5.43.0
kernel info: Linux 2.6.18-6-686 i686


Any hints? I could attach a snapshot of how the eboard client looks like, if necessary.
