496671 is a feature request, not a bug. It's very improbable that new features
will be added to eboard anytime soon (recent list archives should tell why - I'm busy with
other things and I have no hope of getting unbusy soon)

Really, if you want to put two engines to play each other over and over (you
don't really keep watching it, do you ? try out a screensaver or go play neverball :-),
it can be done with less than 100 lines of PERL and a 30-minute reading of Tim Mann's xboard protocol specification (available at his site).
Now that I actually wrote something to the list...
- I should have added someone to the sourceforge group, I still have the email with the
SF handle here somewhere, I really forgot to do it.
- I got a complaint that eboard was acting up on amd64, and I just unpacked a
couple of amd64s at my university lab. I'll verify the issue this week, and if there is
really anything wrong, a miracle may happen and a new version of eboard may come out
after over an year.
