tomorrow I'll get GTK 2 on my box, try to incorporate Maurizio's changes
and give him cvs access so he can commit directly.
meanwhile, let me make some considerations about portability and
- next series (0.7.x) will allow compiling with either GTK 1.2+imlib
or GTK 2, defaulting to GTK 2 if configure detects it, but still
configurable with a switch to configure.
- eboard is known to work well and stable on:
known to have been run succesfully, without much reports on
and last week I found a guy on FICS who was running eboard on
Mac OS X. He was too much a FICS newbie so I didn't get too clear a
report, it seems there was some TCP delay problems, I've changed it
in the CVS already (to set TCP_NODELAY on the connection), I can only
hope it works fine on Mac OS X.
Anyone with a Mac willing to help/test is welcome.
It should be kept that way (working where it works), that's why GTK 1.2
will remain even if under #ifdefs
Last thing implemented: a way to send multiple commands with a shortcut
button and to run a script from a shortcut button.
Next thing to implement, on my plans: make the right-click menu
