#25 eboard produces invalid PGN

eboard's game save format is not valid PGN and thus
confuses other PGN-reading programs such as xboard. The
problem is these two lines:

%eboard:clue:montiverdi checkmated

I would suggest using PGN tags for this information.
The 'clue' information could be replaced by the PGN
'Termination' tag. For the clock information, you could
simply introduce a 'Clock' tag, since the use of
nonstandard tags is permitted by the PGN standard so
long as they conform to the standard syntax.

I would categorise this bug as relatively serious
since, as eboard does not make it possible at the
moment to carry out computer analysis of stored games,
it is necessary to use other programs such as xboard
for this purpose.

using % at the start of a line is a valid way of commenting
out that line. You can get the specification of the PGN
    format in

http://www.wotsit.org , type "PGN" in the search box, get
the 36K file called pgn (it's as ASP site that won't allow
me to post a direct link).

eboard's PGN files a correct PGN files. You may wish to ask
Tim Mann to fix xboard to parse correctly these files.

You can quick-fix it by using the following command to make
eboard PGN files compliant with programs that can't
    understand %-comments:

    grep -v ^% eboard.pgn > newfile.pgn
