Looking in the various logs for this project, I'm still seeing an astonshingly large number of people looking into this thing every day, which tells me there is plenty of intrest for EBJava. Unfortunately I think these people will go away disappoitned.
On the developmental side of things, I have no time to work on EBJava anymore. With school and various other must-do projects, the optional ones get pushed off to the side. This is too bad, but hey, EBJava is very usable as it is now so I don't feel too bad. I did what I set out to do with it and won $250 by submitting it in a contest :)
The next bad thing is that Sourceforge seems hellbent on mangling my filereleases! Actually, I think the one I did just now worked, but maybe not. Oh well, all I know is that the version up on Sourceforge has been corrupt for many months, and people email me about it all the time. CVS is also out of whack for some reason.
Well anyway, everything will work, corrently. ICQ and AIM are supported, and working just fine. There is also plenty of room for making this thing better, so if anyone wants to take over development, PLEASE email me at volkris@tamu.edu and I will make sure the baton gets passed as quickly as possible.
I guess that's all I have to say. Good luck to all of you who are trying to set up EBJava.
