I had no problems getting everything up and running, but I haven't had much time to mess with it. Does ICQ work? I couldn't get it to do anything from what I could tell.

ICQ works in the most basic sense.
It can send and receive messages "through server" (meaning check the "send through server" box to send from regular ICQ clients) and it lists when users are on and offline.
The ICQ protocols aren't the most robust things in the world, though, and I never really had time to get the ICQ stuff working 100%... I would classify it as usable, though.
One thing I discovered recently is that since AOL owns ICQ now, their servers will handle ICQ logins. When I find some time I will be moving the ICQ part of the server to go over the AIM part as I like the AIM stuff a lot better.
