Sorry, I think I made a mess with the programs. The problem in not between easystroke and mtdev, the failure is related with easystroke and xf86-input-evdev compiled with mtdev (a dependance in archlinux since version 2.7.3).

I'm going to ask in the forums of Archlinux, because today (what a coincidence) they have updated xf86-input-evdev to 2.10.0 and now I'm not able to compile it without mtdev. Anyway, I think the bug is on easystroke, because scroll have never worked for me if xf86-input-evdev had never been compiled with mtdev (tested from version 2.6 2.10, and easystroke 0.5 and 0.6, in 2 different tablets, a wetab and a Surface Pro 1).

In my biew, a tablet is almost useless without easystroke, but the scroll is extremely important (dealing with scrollbars is annoying). Thomas, I know that you haven't updated easystroke in a long time, but, do you think that you could offer me a solution or a clue to solve the problem? I'd really appreaciate your help, I'm afraid I'm lack of ideas.
