Well, I finally had some time and went back and tried this with both Oracle and Hypersonic (hsqldb). I don't know what I did previously, but I am now able to succesfully see the database stgructure for both of these. The Hypersonic tree starts with a "NoCatalog" node, but this node is exapndable and displays my tables.
