Which C++ compiler are you using? I've experienced some pretty major
issues in compiling with gcc 3.4.0, whereas gcc 3.3.x (with the older
parser) seems a lot more tolerant. I'm not entirely familiar with the
goings-on in the C++ standardisation rituals these days, but was hoping
that someone might have some suggestions and/or workarounds.
