| Hi all easyEclipse folk ... :-)
I want to thank all admins and contributors for this nice project, I
was using http://yoxos.com/, but i discovered that it's damn commercial
(it's my fault i didn't read license of yoxos), for that i found
easyEclipse, although it needs plug-in manager for updating plug-ins,
that's what you promise at: http://easyeclipse.org/site/help/faq.html
and I'm waiting for this important option.

1- most SWT folks suffering from hard way of lunching SWT jar (jar
exported by standard way by platform), so i suggest to add plug-in for
solving this problem (you can search into maillist to find the big
number of these questions), if u can give me a name for me cuz I'm
looking for it, but i couldn't find it !
2- for CDT folks, they must download some packages beside of CDT (GCC,
cygwin, gdb ...etc), can you merge this packages into easyEclipse (CDT)
project, it's easy to install needed packages and IDE by single click .
3- there are many plug-ins for re-compiling java apps. into native way,
but i notice that most of them are bad, but accidentally i found
excellent project solve this matter
http://javacompiler.mtsystems.ch/index.html it's full app. run on Win32
only, but it can re-compile java app to many Os, so u can merge it as a
tool into easyEclipse cuz it has command line version and GUI ver.

As Chris, zx, quickly pointed out, EasyEclipse already has some of this done and hooked me up with Phillipe Ombr=E9danne from nexB who created EasyEclipse. Of course I already know Phillipe who led the Google Summer of Code project for Eclipse and who is scheduled to give a talk on the C/C++ Eclipse ecosystem (amonst many others I see) at this year's EclipseCon. EasyEclipse for C and C++ is definitely a great start at what I wanted to acheive. And I see from the comments on the site, there are people already asking for MinGW to be included. So I've altered may plan and will work with the gang at EasyEclipse to complete EasyEclipse as a full fledged IDE offering. They already have a thriving community so it will be cool to build on that and get more C/C++ users involved." --=20 Cheers Philippe http://easyeclipse.org - http://phpeclipse.net - http://eclipse.org/atf |
