It looks like I'm the only one having this problem since it's not listed in the forum or FAQ.  But, I just did a fresh download and install of EasyEclipse for Python 1.3.1 under Windows XP.

It installed just fine, but when I Select

I get "Network connection problems encountered during search."  When I open the Details panel, here's what I see:

Network connection problems encountered during search.
         Unable to access "http://update.easyeclipse.org".
Error parsing site stream. [Premature end of file.]
           Premature end of file.
Error parsing site stream. [Premature end of file.]
           Premature end of file.
       ...<the last 5 lines are repeated 8 more times>...

When I try to nslookup update.easyeclipse.org, it fails.

This has been going on for a couple days.

I could work around this issue if there were a place to disable the "http://update.eclipse.org" update links, but I can't find this anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Otherwise, I'll need to go back to installing Eclipse from scratch.  :'>(

Yep - I'm having this problem too.  It seems that the location of the "empty" update site (http://easyeclipse.org/update/site.xml) is NOT what is embedded in the actual 1.3.1.1 disto).

It is too bad the FAQ doesn't explain how to correct the embedded URL so at least we get "NO UPDATES" rather than a barrage of ERROR messages.

Perhaps this topic has been addressed before, but as a newbie I sure couldn't figure out how to seach the forum topics while staying with the EasyEclipse subtree.
