Okay, here is a list of things that should be completed before you guys have to present: Goals Reached Already: - Installs Website on Local Drive - Extensible Toolbar & SideBar - Save FTP Preferences for multiple sites - View Local Website - Edit Existing Pages Goals For This Week Separated By Person: Jake: - Add more templates Eric: - Release Version 1.0 Sean: - Insert Proper License Information: GPL - Add more documentation Andy: - Refresh Sidebar when "Install" or "Refresh" is clicked (I cannot figure this out so I'm hoping you will have better luck...) Ryan: - Connect to FTP Server & sync with Local Directory Emily: - Edit & Add Pages By Showing: - Title - Heading - Content Up For Grabs: - Download images as well as files with "Install" - Make the sidebar have an actual directory tree, not just a list of files, with the "date modified" attribute - Give users easy access to edit templates - Give users ability to switch between templates I discovered this as well which can help you if you are stuck: irc.mozilla.org /join #extdev --Emily |

Hey Guys, I have created user id's and passwords for everyone to have access to the website backend. This will (at least) give you access to moderate the help forum and post in the blog. To log in go to http://easycmx.morseave.com/typolight. Your user id is the same as your gmail username. Your temporary password is your last name followed by your first name (no spaces). If you can't log in, or don't have access to the forum (*Forum/Helpdesk | Discuss*) and the blog (*Content | News | Official Blog*) let me know. Eric Sauer www.theexchangesite.com |

Here is a link to a bookmark extension that connects to a site via ftp. This is what I have been using to understand how the ftp and the code works for extensions. Reply to this post if you have any comments or suggestions: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8426 |

Hey guys, I set up an easy chat system for us and registered a channel on freenode. The url is www.xeonsite.com we should probably throw a link to it up on the SF site or even just put the chat ON that site, that's probably the best idea. Below is the html that would need to go on the site. <iframe width=800 height=600 scrolling=no style="border:0" src="http://embed.mibbit.com/?server=irc.freenode.net&channel=% 23easycmx&forcePrompt=true"></iframe> Hopefully people will use this! You can also of course get to this chat if you have an IRC client by simply connecting to irc.freenode.net and typing /join #easycmx Thanks! Jake |

Just a couple note: - Users should be able to set up mutliple "sites" (as in save multiple ftp accounts). - The plug-in should recognize when then browser is visiting a page to which the user has edit capabilities and indicate with an icon in the bottom status bar. Just in case you guys aren't totally clear on what this extension is going to do, I compiled a short list: Options Menu FTP host, user, password Order of Events Create New Page*** shows page with three boxes: name, header, content after the three boxes are filled, user clicks save this creates the page with the proper headers & adds the page to the menu.xml file Edit Page shows page with three boxes: name, header, content after the three boxes are filled, user clicks save this edits the page & edits the menu.xml file Unpublish Page edits the menu.xml file Publish Page edits the menu.xml file Delete Page removes the page from the server & edits the menu.xml file if necessary ***eventually the user will have the option to create a regular page, a newsfeed, a photo album, etc Please post your progress to the list by Tuesday night and any questions you may have. |
