I've been using Easy Calc on my Handspring Visor (Palm
OS) for a couple of years now and I love your program.
I've used it all the way through calculus and it has
never failed.
Thanks for the excellent work.
I started with 1.13, but recently upgraded to 1.22 and
like the new features. I especially like the expanded
button interface. Its a little more crowed, but makes
up for it in speed.
The reason I am submitting, however, is to suggest a
few features to help us speed up graphing. It would be
nice, when you go into Setup Graphs and Graph Function
windows, to be able to enter data with a screen similar
to the Basic/Scientific/Integer modes. Graffiti tends
to get a little slow and the on screen keyboard is
sometimes too basic or too small. It would be nice to
have an "x" button, a "^" button, a sqrt() button, and
matched ()'s, all on one screen along with the rest of
the basic operations.
I've also always found the drop down list of saved
entries in the Basic/Scientific/Integer modes handy.
Something similar would also be useful in graph. I
often find myself need to go back to a graph, and an
easy recall would be very helpful.
On a more complex level, Graph would be cooler if it
allowed "<" ">" "=<" and " =>." The Apple graphing
calculator could do this and it came in very handy when
I was taking algebra.
Some disiplines, like algebra and calculus, are so
dependant on graphs, that I think these features would
be of tremendous value.
Another note, with 1.13, I used to be able to exit out
of Easy calc using the calander, address book, or to do
list buttons on my Handspring. This doesn't work
anymore with 1.22. I can only do that with the
notebook button now, exiting through touch screen.
Other than that, Easy Calc kicks butt. Thanks again.
