Although most calculators have buttons for sin, cos, tan, but not for csc, sec, cot (and similarly lack the inverse, hyperbolic, and inverse hyperbolic versions of the latter), it would sometimes be convenient to have these other functions available in the global function menu.

I had posted a similar request (long ago); I found that it really is a trivial matter to create what you need as user functions.
For example:
csc() = 1/sin(x)
After defining these user functions, they're available- and work just like any other function. The only difference being, there's no dedicated button.
